Team Simpson Racing has a week off in preparation for the NHRA SummitRacing.com Nationals at Norwalk, Ohio, May 27-30. Driver, Randy Simpson, was the runner-up at last year's national event at Norwalk and looks to go one round further this season.
"We've run well all season and are close to breaking through," Simpson explains optimistically. "Our plan has been to go no fewer than four rounds at each race. So far, we've reached the fourth round at both of our national events, in St. Louis and Joliet. Now we just need to work a little harder and collect a Wally>"

Team Simpson Racing announces new primary sponsor, AtTheDragStrip.com. AtTheDragStrip.com is a newly established Website dedicated to keeping racers informed. The user-friendly Website is steadily building a list of drag strips, sanctioning bodies, and organizations within its network; collecting, organizing, and sharing information such as race schedules, categories, and contact information. An article section features racer write-ups and editorial commentaries and discussions.
The AtTheDragStrip.com Forum is building an online drag racing community. Forum members can discuss all forms of drag racing in both a general and technical context. Members can also share their photos with both fellow members and guests alike.

Randy Simpson, driver of the Team Simpson Racing 1967 E/SA Chevrolet Camaro recently had his photo featured in the 2010 NHRA Fan Guide. The NHRA Fan Guide is a supplemental, full-color printed booklet, released annually. Simpson's photo is of his final round appearance at the SummitRacingEquipment.com NHRA Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. The photo accompanies a description of the NHRA Stock Eliminator category, giving readers an opportunity to see what type of cars are contested in the class.
